A Diabetes Risk Study for Youths
Help us better predict diabetes. Discover your body and your future.

Despite Singapore’s declared war against diabetes
The rates of diabetes in young Singaporeans (below 40 years) continue to rise. Having diabetes when young leads to earlier development of diabetes-related complications.
So it's important to detect this early
This study aims to develop new tools to better predict the risk of diabetes in young Singaporeans. Are you between 21 and 40 years old, and not currently known to have diabetes? Would you like to

1. Find out whether you have diabetes
A fasting blood test is done, followed by another blood draw 2 hours after consuming a sugared drink.

2. Discover your body composition
Body composition scan measures fat, lean mass, and skeletal muscle using quick, non-invasive bioimpedance analysis.

3. Contribute to contemporary understanding of diabetes risk in today's world
This will help us identify who is at highest risk of diabetes, to guide targeted and earlier screening.
If you have answered 'Yes' to these questions
Come join us in this research study for young Singaporeans! You will have access to the latest tools in continuous glucose monitoring sensing and the latest technology in body composition measurement.
