Why the use of social media data?
Social media use is very popular in young adults. Interactions with social media are likely to reflect individuals’ interests, activities and behaviours in the real world. We believe that understanding these factors will help to deliver a more holistic understanding of you.
We only extract selected public data
However, we recognize that many of our interactions on social media may be private or sensitive. Therefore, we only intend to capture information that is publicly-available, or information that is already collected by social media companies for personalized advertisements and content.

Your identity will remain confidential. We do not collect personal posts, photos, comments, likes, or messages. Any additional data beyond the above fields that we receive will not be saved. All data is used only for research. You will not be identifiable in any analysis or report.
